Central's Got Praise
Central’s Got Praise is a brand-new regional music competition for high school praise bands and individual worship musicians—designed to inspire, connect, and elevate the next generation of worship leaders. This fall, we're bringing the stage to your community with five district-level competitions, hosted at United Methodist churches across Missouri.
We’re inviting churches to sign up their youth praise band or standout musician to compete in one of these exciting local events with the competition split into two catagories:
- Band Category:
Gather your youth praise band and lead worship as a team. District winners will receive a trophy and advance to the statewide praise band competition held in February during “Central’s Got Talent” finals. - Individual Category:
Got a solo vocalist or instrumentalist in your youth group with a passion for worship? They can compete for scholarships and a spot in the statewide CGT showcase, where they can compete to win a full-tuition scholarship to Central Methodist University.
